Goals Per Class

*Goals are dependent on each child and vary from each apparatus and/or skill.

  • Floor: Gymnastics Positions + Animal Walks, Spidermans, Donkey Kicks, Forward Rolls, Pencil Rolls, and Tummy Tables

    Vault: Spring Board Footing, Squat Ons, and Straight + Tuck Jumps.

    Bar: Front Supports, Shimmies, Scissor Kicks, Chip Ups, Hangs, and Swings.

    Beam: Walks and Hops.

  • Floor: Line Drills, Levers + Lever Hops, Cartwheels, Bridge Holds, Backbends, Dive Rolls, and Back Rolls.

    Vault: Stick It, Straddle Ons, Dive Rolls, and Straddle + Split Jump.

    Bar: Casting, Candlesticks, Pullovers, Forward Roll Dismounts, and Connecting Skills.

    Beam: Leaps + Turns, as well as Beginner Tumbling on Low Beams.

  • Floor: Handstands, Cartwheel Step Ins, Bridge Kick Overs, Tick Tocks, and Back Extension Rolls.

    Vault: Pike Ups —> Handstands and Half + Full Turn Jumps.

    Bar: Back Hip Circles, Front Hip Circles, and Kips.

    Beam: Routines and Advanced Tumbling.

  • Floor: Round-Offs, Back Handsprings, Press Handstands, etc.

    Vault: Handstand Flatbacks.

    Bar: Kips, Windmills, and Routines.

    Beam: Splits and Tumbling Routines with Mounts + Dismounts.
